2025….the year we all THRIVE! (long post ahead)

It’s surreal to think about where I am now, especially considering where I started just five years ago. Little me would have never imagined this—writing about the things I’ve done and the things I’m about to do. It feels like a dream. Producing three different shows (ie. FREAK OUT: THE AFTERPARTY, MESSY FRIENDS, and MESSY FRIENDS: PARTY FAVOURS) simultaneously, and taking them to multiple cities, means I’m juggling 10 different seasons at once. To say I’m tired would be the understatement of the century.

And I won’t lie, there are moments when the anxieties of it all have been overwhelming. I’m the kind of person who tends to suffer in silence rather than admit when I’m struggling (something I’m actively working on, by the way!). Knowing that so many people are relying on me is both an honour and a weight. I’m endlessly grateful for the trust others place in me, but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t occasionally feel like a lot to carry.

The truth is, the pressure I’ve been putting on myself is unfair. At the end of the day, I’m just a f*g in makeup, doing my best to make people laugh, cry, and lose their minds on the dance floor. This is all supposed to be fun. It’s not life or death, and I need to remind myself of that more often.

So as 2025 begins, I’m making a promise to myself: I will find a better balance between work and life, I will not be so hard on myself, I will tell myself that these feelings are valid, and I’ll try not to take everything so damn seriously. After all, what’s the point of creating joy if I forget to feel it myself?

To everyone who’s supported me on this journey—whether you’ve seen a show, sent a kind message, or told a friend to come along—you make this possible. You keep my artists thriving and fed, and for that, we are endlessly thankful.

I can’t wait to see your beautiful faces somewhere on the road this year, no matter which city you’re in. Here’s to making 2025 the year of connection, creativity, and thriving. Let’s make some magic together. 💖

Closing Night at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024 was an emotional rollercoaster, (yes this is a photo of me sobbing on the dressing room floor after the show finished 😂).

This season marked a huge milestone for me personally, as I stepped into the role of co-producer for an international season of a show for the first time. It’s been an incredible experience to help bring this show to life, shaping every detail alongside such a talented and passionate team.

The response from our audiences has been beyond anything we could have imagined. The energy in the room each night was electric, and seeing our hard work pay off in such a big way has been deeply rewarding.

To everyone who supported us, whether you attended a show or cheered us on from afar, thank you. And a special thank you to my incredible Messy dream team: Skye, for co-producing this whirlwind season with me; Brendon, for stepping up as our on-ground producer; Ginava, the creative genius behind it all; and Bobby and Mary, for being such fantastic cast members.

So what’s next? Well 2025 is looking to be absolutely major, new things are in the works which is VERY exciting, also make sure you keep a look out cause we might be coming to a city near you 👀😏.

What a joy it was to present our show over in Naarm/Melbourne for the first time ever! Thank you to my beautifully talented cast @_natalieoakes_ , @danisasnake, @alfiedelia, @gendermess, @skye_scraper_ for always giving me the “YES AND” attitude with whatever I throw at them, they are the real fuckin deal. ❤️‍🔥

And special shoutout to my wonderful guest performers @milohartill, @themme_fatale and @jordantwartz, was a joy to have you grace our stage! 💕

And what’s next? Well I have an extra special something for my Perth girlies coming soon in 2024, trust me when I say this will be the biggest one yet! 😈 stay tuned….😘

Repping Perth as the first ever Drag troupe from Perth to go International! ✈️ This was some core memory shit right here. I’m so lucky I got to experience this with the people I can call family. ❤️

It’s finally time….(long post ahead)

Tonight I jet off on a journey which I believe will be one of the most rewarding things I have ever done in my life. ✈️🥹

My schedule for this trip is bloody hectic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I will be doing 60+ shows over the 26 days of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Which is wilddddd thinking about it haha! But I am ready to take on this challenge and show my ass 3 times a night to a beautiful crowd! 🤪

The cast of Ginava’s Messy Friends are so excited to be sharing our special show with the world performing throughout the entire festival.
You will also be able to catch us showcasing some of our show on What’s On Scotland on STV, Scotland’s national TV network! 📺✨You can catch me in a plethora of other fabulous shows throughout the festival too! :)

Before all of that, I’ll be making my Netherlands debut in Amsterdam at the iconic Milkshake Festival @milkshakefestival with my two gal pals @skye_scraper_ and @marylambogod, performing on the Galore Stage @the_lady_galore 😍

After our wild ride at Edinburgh Fringe is done, a few of us will be doing a mini CLUB FREAK OUT takeover at the beautiful Albert Schloss venue in Manchester. 😍

And then more to be announced soon in Berlin and in London!😈

We've dedicated ourselves relentlessly to making this dream a reality. Every ounce of our souls and hearts has been poured into this project and it's undeniably the most challenging thing we've ever undertaken, so all the love and support that has been given to us, we feel it deeply. ❤️

I feel immensely grateful to be part of such a supportive and caring cast, where we all have each other's backs. I couldn't have asked for a better group of wonderful messes to embark on this adventure with.
